Stanstead Symposium 2007
Sculptors were given three days to sculpt a block of Stanstead grey granite into a work of art under the theme 'Freedom.' As opposed to the extensive preparation for the 2006 Symposium with the theme 'borders,' the goal was to live the moment and connect to the stone, claiming that ultimate freedom is found in the moments in life where your mind is neither stuck in the past nor planning for the future. The finished sculpture was donated to Stanstead College.
